Installation Services

Our service work covers planning, fitting, commissioning and upkeep for supplied systems. We focus on safe placement, neat finishes and dependable operation in local conditions.

What Our Installation Work Covers

Our installation services are set up for homes, shops, offices and light commercial sites that need air-conditioning fitted properly from the start. We work on wall splits, cassettes and portable units, with the same attention to pipe runs, drainage, electrical connection and airflow. If the system is being replaced, we also remove the old unit and check the existing line set and mounting points before work begins.

This service hub is here to help you choose the right type of installation for your space. Some projects only need a straight swap, while others call for a site assessment, new pipework or extra support for a ceiling cassette. The listing cards are added separately, so this page gives you the practical overview of what each service involves.

How To Choose The Right Installation Type

The right service depends on the unit type, room size, building layout and power supply. A small bedroom in White River has different needs from a retail unit in Rustenburg or a boardroom in Potchefstroom. We look at where the unit will sit, how the condensate will drain, and whether the area can cope with the added load on the electrical side.

  • Choose a new installation when the space has no existing aircon points.
  • Choose replacement units when an older system is noisy, weak or costly to keep running.
  • Choose cassette fitment when you want better distribution in a ceiling grid or open plan room.
  • Choose portable setup when you need a quick option with no fixed mounting.

If you are unsure, a site assessment saves time and avoids poor placement. It is better to measure once and fit once than to move a unit later because of sunlight, ceiling height or a blocked service gap.

Site Assessments And Planning

A proper installation starts with a site visit or a clear set of measurements. We check room size, ceiling height, wall strength, access for pipework, and the position of the outdoor unit. In coastal humidity or dusty inland areas, the placement matters even more because poor airflow and blocked drainage can shorten the life of the system.

Planning also covers power availability and load-shedding conditions. If the circuit is not suitable, or the mounting position is exposed to rain and heat we will flag it before the work starts. That helps prevent call-backs and keeps the unit running as intended.

  • Room and load assessment
  • Mounting and clearances
  • Drain route and condensate control
  • Electrical readiness and isolator position

Fitting, Commissioning And First Run Checks

Once the equipment is on site, our team fits the indoor and outdoor units, connects the lines, checks insulation and secures the installation neatly. We aim for a tidy finish with straight pipe runs, properly supported brackets and sensible access for future servicing. That matters when the unit needs attention later and nobody wants a messy chase job on the wall.

Commissioning is where the system gets checked under working conditions. We test operation, confirm airflow, inspect for leaks and make sure drainage is moving away as it should. The first run checks also show whether the unit is sized correctly for the room and whether any adjustments are needed before handover.

Installation For Lowveld And North West Conditions

Mbombela, Hazyview and White River can be tough on air-conditioners because of heat, humidity and heavy summer use. In Klerksdorp, Rustenburg and Potchefstroom, dust and power interruptions can create their own problems. We take those conditions into account when positioning units and advising on upkeep, so the system has a better chance of lasting and performing well.

In many cases, the best result comes from simple practical decisions. A unit installed out of direct afternoon sun, with clear discharge air and proper drainage, often performs better than a bigger unit fitted in a poor spot. Small details make a difference over time, especially in buildings that run aircon every day.

Servicing, Fault Finding And Gas Top-Ups

We do not stop at the initial fitment. Our service support includes scheduled servicing, fault finding, gas top-ups and deep cleaning for supplied systems. Regular maintenance keeps filters, coils and drainage paths in better condition, which helps reduce noise, weak cooling and unnecessary strain on the compressor.

If a unit is not cooling properly, we check for the common causes first: blocked airflow, dirty indoor coils, drainage issues, low gas or electrical faults. Not every problem is a major repair, and in some cases a proper clean or a simple correction gets the system back on track.

  • Scheduled servicing for homes and businesses
  • Fault finding on poor cooling or unusual noise
  • Gas top-ups after leak checks
  • Deep cleaning for dusty or high-use units

Who Handles Your Installation

Our team works from Mbombela with coverage into the North West, and the office knows how to handle trade enquiries, timing and follow-up. Sipho Mandla Nkosi oversees the business, while Annelie van Wyk handles sales support, Thabo Mokoena supervises installations, Lerato Molefe coordinates service work, Johan Steyn manages the warehouse, and Nokuthula Dlamini handles accounts and admin. It is a practical setup, so jobs move from quote to stock to fitment without confusion.

That structure matters when customers need clear communication and a firm plan for the work. If you need help in Mbombela, White River, Hazyview, Klerksdorp, Potchefstroom or Rustenburg, we can talk through the job and advise on the next step.

Questions we get asked

Do you install air-conditioners only, or do you also supply them?

We supply and install air-conditioners, including wall splits, cassettes and portable units, subject to stock availability and the job requirements.

Do you work outside Mbombela?

Yes. We are based in Mbombela and cover the Lowveld as well as Klerksdorp and wider North West areas such as Potchefstroom and Rustenburg.

What should I arrange before an installation?

Please have the room size, site access and power details ready if possible. If there is an old unit on site, we will also need to know whether it must be removed or replaced.
