About us

Aircon Warehouse started in 2018 with a simple focus: keep good air-conditioning stock available at trade prices and support customers with proper installation and service. From Mbombela to Klerksdorp, we work with homeowners, contractors and businesses that need practical advice, quick turnaround and straight dealing.

How Aircon Warehouse started and where we are based

Aircon Warehouse is based in Mbombela, serving the Lowveld and North West with supply and installation support that suits local conditions. We work from a warehouse model rather than a showroom-first model, so the focus stays on stock, movement and getting the right unit to site without unnecessary delay. That matters when a shop, office or guest house cannot wait for comfort to be sorted in the middle of summer.

The business was founded in 2018 and has grown through word of mouth, repeat customers and steady work in places like Mbombela, White River, Hazyview, Klerksdorp, Potchefstroom and Rustenburg. We know the pace of the region, from humid Lowveld weather to dry inland heat and the pressure that load-shedding puts on cooling and backup planning.

Our approach is practical. We keep the conversation about the site, the room size, the power supply, the ceiling layout and how the unit will be maintained after installation. That is how we help customers avoid buying too small or too large a system, and it also helps reduce call-backs later on.

What we supply and why trade customers come to us

We stock wall split units, cassette units and portable air-conditioners for a wide range of residential and commercial uses. Customers come to us when they need trade pricing, clear stock availability and support that is suitable for both small jobs and larger installations. The range changes through the year, but the aim stays the same: keep the supply side moving.

Our customers include builders, property owners, small businesses, guest houses, shops and installers who need a dependable aircon supplier in the region. We also help people replacing older units that no longer make sense to repair, especially where energy use, noise levels or ongoing faults are becoming a problem.

  • Wall split units for bedrooms, living areas, offices and smaller commercial rooms
  • Cassette units for ceilings in retail, boardrooms and open-plan areas
  • Portable units for temporary cooling or spaces where fixed installation is not practical
  • Replacement units when the old system is beyond economical repair
  • Trade supply for contractors who need consistent support and stock access

Installation work built around local sites and local rules

Our installation service covers Mbombela, White River, Hazyview, Klerksdorp, Potchefstroom and Rustenburg, with attention to the real conditions on site. That means checking where the outdoor unit can sit, how the drain will run, what the electrical supply can handle and whether the ceiling or wall structure is suitable for the unit type chosen.

In the Lowveld, we deal with heat and humidity that can push systems hard for long hours. Inland, dust and wide temperature swings can affect performance and servicing intervals. On commercial sites, we often work around municipal requirements, landlord rules, access limits and business hours so the job can proceed without disrupting trading more than needed.

Our team handles site assessments, new installations, cassette fitment, portable setup and system commissioning. Where a site needs a replacement rather than a first fit, we remove the old unit carefully and help set up the new one so the changeover is clean and the space can get back to normal quickly.

  • Site assessments before work starts, so the quote and scope are properly matched
  • New installations for homes, offices, shops and guest accommodation
  • Cassette fitment for ceilings and open areas
  • Portable setup for temporary or flexible cooling needs
  • System commissioning once installation is complete

How we handle service, repairs and maintenance

Air-conditioning works best when it is looked after before a fault turns into downtime. That is why we offer scheduled servicing, fault finding, gas top-ups and deep cleaning for systems that are used regularly or have started showing signs of strain. We also assist when units are underperforming because of blocked filters, dirty coils, low refrigerant levels or poor airflow around the condenser.

Our service coordinator keeps the process moving from first call through to job scheduling and follow-up. If a customer has a unit that is leaking, blowing warm air or tripping power, we aim to get the issue isolated properly instead of guessing at the fix. That saves time and usually saves money too.

For businesses, regular servicing helps keep staff areas comfortable and reduces the chance of a system giving trouble at the wrong time. For homes, it helps keep running costs in check and can extend the life of the equipment, which is important when replacement budgets are tight.

  • Scheduled servicing for homes and commercial premises
  • Fault finding for poor cooling, leaks, noise and electrical issues
  • Gas top-ups where the system has lost charge and requires proper checking
  • Deep cleaning for dust, mould and build-up inside the unit
  • Replacement advice when repair no longer makes financial sense

The team behind the warehouse counter and on site

Aircon Warehouse is run by a small team that understands the business from the inside out. Sipho Mandla Nkosi leads the company as Managing Director, with Annelie van Wyk handling sales, Thabo Mokoena supervising installations, Lerato Molefe coordinating service, Johan Steyn managing the warehouse and Nokuthula Dlamini looking after accounts and admin. Each person has a clear role, which helps keep quotes accurate, stock movement controlled and jobs scheduled properly.

That structure matters when a customer needs a quick answer. Instead of sending a query from one person to another four times, we can usually get the right person involved early. It also means that if there is a stock question, an installation detail or an invoice issue, there is someone responsible for it, not a vague handover that leaves the customer waiting.

We are proud of working in a straightforward way. We do not overcomplicate a job, and we do not promise what cannot be delivered. If a site needs extra work, we say so. If a system choice could be better, we explain why. That kind of honesty is part of how we have kept support across different towns and different types of premises.

What values guide our work every day

Our values are simple and practical. We want customers to get the right unit, the right fit and the right after-sales support without fuss. In a trade environment, that means being clear on pricing, honest on lead times and careful with installation details. It also means respecting people’s time, especially when they are managing tenants, staff, guests or customers.

We also understand that air-conditioning is not just about comfort. In many homes and businesses, it affects sleep, working conditions, stock protection and customer experience. When temperatures rise, or when load-shedding affects routines, a reliable system becomes part of the daily running of the property.

That is why we keep our work focused on proper assessment, practical recommendations and clean workmanship. It is the only way to build long-term relationships in places like Mbombela and Klerksdorp, where people know the difference between a quick sale and a supplier that actually stands behind the job.
