How collection works from our warehouse
Collection is available for trade and private customers once stock has been confirmed and your order is ready for release. Because we hold wall splits, cassettes and portable units in warehouse stock, many orders can be picked up without a long wait, but it still helps to check availability first before you travel.
When collecting, please bring the order reference, your name and contact number. If someone else is collecting on your behalf, let us know in advance so the handover can be recorded correctly. For larger units, please make sure the vehicle has enough space, tie-downs and a second person to assist with loading, especially for cassettes and heavier outdoor units.
- Confirm stock by phone or email before collection
- Bring the order reference and ID if requested
- Check that your vehicle can carry the load safely
- Inspect the items before leaving the yard
Dispatch timing for stock on hand
In-stock units are usually dispatched once payment and collection details are in order. If an item needs to move from warehouse stock to a job site or branch run, we will give you a practical time frame based on the day’s route and load. We do not promise same-day movement on every order, but we will tell you straight if a unit can go out quickly or if it needs to wait for the next vehicle run.
Orders placed early in the day are easier to process, especially when commissioning, deep cleaning or new installation work is also booked. If there is a load-shedding change, municipal access delay or bad weather on the route, dispatch times may shift a bit. We will keep you updated so you can plan your labour and access arrangements.
- Early orders are easier to slot into the day
- Dispatch depends on stock status and route planning
- Weather, load-shedding and site access can affect timing
Delivery areas in the Lowveld and North West
We are based in Mbombela and deliver into the Lowveld and North West through arranged routes and installation runs. Common delivery points include Mbombela, White River and Hazyview, with North West coverage including Klerksdorp, Potchefstroom and Rustenburg. If your site sits outside these main points, we can still quote the movement and advise the best option.
For deliveries into busy commercial areas or complexes, please check gate access, delivery hours and any security sign-in rules before the vehicle arrives. Some sites need prior notice for offloading, lift access or loading bay bookings. That detail helps avoid delays and extra handling. It is worth noting that a clear access plan saves more time than a rush order ever will.
- Mbombela, White River and Hazyview routes are handled from our base
- Klerksdorp, Potchefstroom and Rustenburg are covered on planned North West runs
- Tell us about gate access, floor level and offloading restrictions
What happens with installation deliveries
If you are booking a new installation, replacement unit, cassette fitment or portable setup, the delivery and fitting are planned together where possible. This means the correct unit, pipework, brackets, cabling and accessories can move as one load. It reduces repeat trips and helps the installation team get the job done in one visit where the site conditions allow.
Site assessments are useful before the delivery date because they confirm the mounting position, distance from the indoor to outdoor unit, drainage route and electrical point. For coastal humidity or dusty inland areas, we may also advise on protective siting and regular servicing. If the unit is being fitted in a building with body corporate or municipal rules, please arrange approval before the installation date so the work does not get held up.
- Installation deliveries are planned with the fitting date
- Site assessments help prevent missing materials and return trips
- Approvals for body corporate or municipal access should be arranged early
Preparing your site and vehicle access
Whether the unit is being collected or delivered, the main thing is clear access. Air-conditioners are packed to travel safely, but the final handover depends on the site or vehicle being ready. Keep the path open, remove loose debris and make sure the delivery point is easy to reach. If the unit is going upstairs or through a narrow passage, tell us beforehand so we can plan the right people and equipment.
For portable units, check that there is a nearby power socket and enough floor space for correct operation. For wall splits and cassettes, make sure you have confirmed the room size and the mounting position before the goods arrive. A quick check now prevents a lot of hassle later, especially when the job is in a busy workshop, shopfront or family home.
- Keep gates, walkways and parking clear
- Advise us about stairs, lifts, narrow passages or long distances
- Make sure the power point and mounting location are ready for use
If stock is delayed or changed
Sometimes stock moves faster than expected and sometimes it does not. If a unit is delayed, damaged in transit or needs to be swapped for another model, we will explain the next step and give you a revised plan. We prefer to fix the problem directly rather than leave you guessing. That applies to spare units, replacement units and service parts as well.
If your delivery address changes after the order is placed, send the new details as soon as possible. Include the suburb, contact person and any access notes. The sooner we have that information, the easier it is to reroute the load and keep the schedule on track. For trade customers in particular, this keeps sites moving and helps the installer stay productive.
- Report address changes early
- Tell us about any stock issue as soon as it is noticed
- Keep your contact phone on during delivery day
